© did it!!! After alot of  hard work I managed to get five pieces together for the Society Of Botanical Artists annual Exhibition, The Language of Flowers. Such a memorable day with a very warm welcome from the SBA helpers on submission day (18th February2013)...They were eager for us to share the buzz of the day where many artists travelled from all over the country and further afield. Over 1000 paintings were submitted!! Now we just have to wait to hear from the selection committee! http://www.soc-botanical-artists.org/exhibitions_2013.php

I arrived safely with my paintings :)

I thought it was time to do a new blog, first blog of 2013! Been really busy getting work together for the annual exhibition http://www.soc-botanical-artists.org/exhibitions_2013.php. Submission day is the 18th of February, so not long now. I think I have finished all 5 paintings and just have some mounting and framing to do...A very tedious and frustrating job, however it saves alot of money and I like to be a one man band! Painter and framer! I have not set myself an easy task, nice to see the end product though. Oh and I also have all the labels to do...Also in my mind I'm planning my next painting! So best get to work! So here are my 5 paintings :)
