Just thought I would do a quick blog before the New Year Celebrations and after the Christmas celebrations!! I was very busy painting before Christmas, I was wanting to get one of my paintings finished...Because I knew once Christmas kicked in, I wouldn't get any painting done for a good week or so! The race is now on to get all 5 paintings finished by the 18th of February, submission day for The Society Of Botanical Artists exhibition to be held in April 2013. The title of the exhibition is 'The Language Of Flowers' I have decided to do pollination ( If you look at my November blog, you can read all about pollination) I have finished one painting, which you can see below.
So that's 2 down and 3 to go! So I'm going to be very busy at the start of the New Year! I would like to take this opportunity to wish one and all a very happy and healthy New Year :) Lets hope it's even better than 2012!
